The 1-Piece ME Adjustable length is a lightweight and simple alternative to the existing ME 2 piece Adjustable Length, which allows for adjustment over smaller distances making it ideal for header/cascade systems.

The part comes with a pre-fitted external gasket on the male end to ensure the component’s P1 rating in line with ME product designation. Testing was based on installation within a horizontal header system, and no locking band used.

If used vertically (and is load bearing), we suggest using it in conjunction with the Locking Band w/Screw Fitting (MEKBS).

Description

ME system is a modular single wall flue/chimney system, made of stainless steel with a silicone sealing ring.

ME is a universal flue/chimney system which is suitable for both high and low temperatures, non-condensing and condensing applications with flue gasses under positive and negative pressure. It can resist a chimney fire.

Therefore the system is suitable for a wide range of applications such as boilers, stoves, ovens and a ventilation system. The system can also be used for CHP applications, in this case a special VITON® sealing ring might be necessary.
